Janet Thomas will discuss her book, "Day Breaks Over Dharamsala A Memoir of Life Lost and Found," a journey through spiritual healing from mind control/ritual/sexual abuse. The deep dilemma for survivors of extreme abuse is the fundamental estrangement from the sacred self. How do we reclaim it? Integrate it? Restore the sense of a spirited and nurturing self? How do we connect to the place inside us beyond and beneath our brilliant minds that nurtures and sustains us in our daily lives and in our relationships? These questions, and their answers, will be shared and explored.
Janet Thomas has been in active and conscious healing from ritual abuse/mind control experimentation for 25 years. Her parallel lives include many years as a poet, playwright, activist, magazine editor and author of non-fiction books, including "The Battle in Seattle The Story Behind and Beyond the WTO Demonstrations." She lives and teaches in India and on an island in the Pacific Northwest.

Eighteenth Annual Child Sexual Abuse Conference
On April 28, 2012, there will be the Eighteenth Annual Child Sexual Abuse Conference at the Veterans Memorial Center, 203 East 14th Street, Davis, CA from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. "Resourcefulness as a survival tool. Drawing on both internal and external resources"
Alison grew up within an inter-generational cult in Eastern Ontario, Canada rooted in the Knights of Columbus and the 18th century Catholic Church. To pay for disappointing her family of not carrying on the tradition of the firstborn son, Alison bore three children by members of her family and was forced to sacrifice them. She did her University studies from 1993-2004 during which time she struggled with unmanaged dissociation, anorexia and bulimia.
Her healing began in a treatment program in the USA, and continues at home in Canada. Alison has two published articles and now speaks out about SRA. She has been recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and still continues her endeavors to bring light to the issue of SRA. She has worked as an HIV counselor and a rep on the LGBTQ Caucus of the Ontario NDP. Alison is a part time music theory teacher and Artist Manager.
Having the ability to be resourceful has kept Alison alive for the past 36 years. She believes that all human beings have basic human rights as outlined in the Canadian Human Rights Code, and she has drawn on resources, both internal as well as external. She will be talking about how this resourcefulness has saved her life and will offer suggestions on how other survivors can find and draw on their own many resources.

We've had Webinars by Mike Skinner, a musician, and Lynn Schirmer, an artist, who use their talents to spread the word about publically. Most of us, though, use art and music in a much more private way to advance out own healing. Now we can hear somebody just like us share her process and reassure us that art is for everybody.
"How a 'Non-Artist' Uses Art for Healing."
Flower will be showing slides of some of her artwork and explaining how she used art to help in her healing process. She is not an artist, and so brings the perspective that it is something anyone can do. Talent is not needed. :-)
Flower is a survivor of SRA. She grew up in a generational cult family but was unaware of that until much later in life. Her love of writing is reflected in poetry, private journaling, and several blogs. One blog focuses specifically on her thoughts as a survivor. She has a strong faith in her Creator and has known Yeshua/Jesus since she was a small child...which is reflected in some of her healing art and writings. She also loves taking photos and combining them with encouraging words.
REGISTRATION:
The cost of each Webinar is $20.00, plus the cost of your telephone call to the East Coast. There are a limited number of full and partial scholarships available. Neil Brick is a survivor of Masonic based Ritual Abuse and MK-ULTRA. He is the editor of S.M.A.R.T. - A Ritual Abuse Newsletter. His topics are: Fighting the Spin : The Truth about Child Abuse Cases and The Move from Blame the Victim to Blame the Helper.
Nick Bryant's writing has recurrently focused on the plight of disadvantaged children in the United States, and he’s been published in numerous national journals, including the Journal of Professional Ethics, Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology, Journal of Social Distress and Homelessness, Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved, and Journal of School Health. He is the co-author of America’s Children: Triumph of Tragedy, addressing the medical and developmental problems of lower socioeconomic children in America. Suzie Burke, R.N., Ph.D. is the pen name of a real woman who is a registered nurse and licensed professional counselor with a doctorate in psychology. Suzie is the author of “Wholeness, my healing journey from ritual abuse.” Her 10-year path to recovery was a result of a savvy counselor, her own determination not to let her perpetrators “win,” plus a family that never wavered. Wanda Karriker, Ph.D. is a retired psychologist who spent a career working with survivors of extreme abuse. She is author of the novel, "Morning, Come Quickly," co-developer of the Extreme Abuse Survey Project and former editor of Survivorship. Her topic is “The Ritual Abuse Controversy: A Personal Perspective.”
Mary Keats RN BA wife, mother, grandmother, working in social services, is a survivor of Ritual Abuse Torture. She is a spiritual person who enjoys life to the fullest. Her energy and enthusiasm are infectious. She refuses to be muzzled, decided early on in her recovery to break the silence, so others could be helped. Her topic is: Hope after the Darkness
Julaine has spent over 21 years on this journey. As the daughter of a career military man, working in "intelligence", she was turned over for government experimentation prior to the formal designations like Artichoke and MKUltra. A former polyfragmented woman, she has employed many approaches and therapies to heal, and is here today to talk about things she learned as she walked this journey. Her topic is: Looking Back: Lessons from the Healing Journey
Lynn Schirmer is an artist and survivor of ritual abuse-torture and trauma based mind control. She mounts frequent exhibits where she engages audiences about the reality of extreme abuse and tax funded exploitation of children and adults. Her work has been exhibited the US and France. Flower will be showing slides of some of her artwork and explaining how she used art to help in her healing process. She is not an artist and so brings the perspective that it is something anyone can do. Talent is not needed. :-)

Flower is a survivor of SRA. She grew up in a generational cult family but was unaware of that until much later in life. Her love of writing is reflected in poetry, private journaling, and several blogs. One blog focuses specifically on her thoughts as a survivor. She has a strong faith in her Creator and has known Yeshua/Jesus since she was a small child...which is reflected in some of her healing art and writings. She also loves taking photos and combining them with encouraging words.

Trish's years of ritual abuse and mind control remained secret, even from herself, until she was 30 years old, reaching conscious awareness during college social work classes about child abuse. The decade-spanning healing journey that followed led Trish on a path of discovery that has now culminated in her life's purpose of spreading understanding, hope and inspiration.

SURVIVORSHIP WEBINARS
Survivorship is happy to announce a series of Webinars on various aspects of ritual abuse and healing. Webinars are seminars on the Web – basically, conference calls plus slides. There is time for discussion and question and answer periods. Webinars are like presentations at a conference, except there is no travel involved!
Hopefully, this new technology will be an effective way of imparting information and building bridges between people who cannot meet in person. We hope that many of you will participate and some will be inspired to give Webinars of your own on aspects of ritual abuse, mind control, and healing that are of particular interest to you. Remember, we are all experts, we all have something to contribute, and together we are writing the “instruction manual” for healing!

“I am a survivor of witchcraft abuse, satanic ritual abuse and what I suspect was Neo-Nazi abuse as well. I am a published writer, a feminist, an animal lover, a Quaker, and many other things. I have a physical disability, and this means I need physical assistance daily, but there is nothing wrong with my capacity to ponder, to value, to give, to enhance discussion, to be a support, resource, and other things, like a disability and survivor activist. I have spoken at hospitals, disability organizations and conferences. I mainly focus on stereotypes against those with disabilities, abuse, bioethics, PTSD, and body esteem in my speeches and writing.”
Material covered will include: the abuse of disabled children in rituals; extreme abuse as a cause of disabilities; and the role of shame, guilt, and confronting discrimination in society as a whole and within the survivor community The time will be split between lecture and participant interaction.

She has co-authored three articles with Randy Noblitt on Social Security Disability programs including; “Social Security Disability, Supplemental Security Income: What You Need to Know” (Survivorship, 15, 1, pp. 12-17); “Disability, Ethics, and Advocacy: The Duty of Clinicians to their Disabled Patients” (Forensic Examiner, 18, 2, pp. 26-30); and “Getting from Here to There: Dissociation, Disability, and Survival” (accepted for publication in Voices (official journal for the American Academy of Psychotherapists.)

Bonnie Bazill-Davis, of “Speak Out Services,” teaches child care providers and youth counselors how to recognize and prevent child abuse. She is a certified trainer for the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program and an award-winning public speaker. Her trainings are personalized by including material from her own experience of healing from incest and ritual abuse.

He co-authored with Pamela Perskin Noblitt “Cult and Ritual Abuse: Its History, Anthropology, and Recent Discovery in Contemporary America” and “Ritual Abuse in the Twenty-first Century: Psychological, Forensic, Social, and Political Considerations.” Over his career as a clinical psychologist, he has evaluated and/or treated over 300 individuals with dissociation of identity.
