Nigeria: Lagos Rescues 25 Children From Suspected Trafficker

Lagos — A suspected human trafficker...has been arrested by officials of the Lagos State government, following a tip-off that she uses her orphanage to engage in the act.
Our correspondent reports that the alleged trafficker has been detained at Alausa Police Station, while 25 children ...are now in custody of the state government.
....it was discovered upon investigation that...also defrauds innocent members of the public while pretending to assist them in child adoption.
...."Investigation also shows that there are no records of how the children got to her; no police or security report," she said.
....She denied the allegations levelled against her....
