Dr. Alison Miller has an M.A. from the University of Delhi (India), a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia and is a semi-retired psychologist in private practice in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She has worked with survivors of ritual abuse and mind control since 1991. She has been a fellow of the ISST-D (International Society for the Study of Trauma &Dissociation) since 2013. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Survivorship, and is the Chair-Elect of the Ritual Abuse and Mind Control Special Interest Group of the ISST-D. Her books include: Becoming Yourself: Overcoming Mind Control and Ritual Abuse (for survivors) and Healing the Unimaginable: Treating Ritual Abuse and Mind Control (for therapists).
Internal Keys to Safety
Survivors’ safety is endangered both externally by parts who maintain ongoing contact with perpetrators and respond to cues, and internally by parts trained to punish the person for forbidden behavior such as disclosures. I shall give practical suggestions for survivors to achieve and maintain safety both externally and internally. (Skype presentation)
Randy Noblitt, PhD, is a clinical psychologist (licensed in Texas) and professor of clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology at the California School of Psychology at Alliant International University, Los Angeles. In the course of his practice, Randy has treated more than 300 individuals who met the criteria for dissociative identity disorder. He is the principle author of Cult and Ritual Abuse: Its History, Anthropology and Recent Discovery in Contemporary America (Praeger, 1995. 2000), and its third edition, Cult and Ritual Abuse: Narratives, Evidence and Healing Approaches (Praeger, 2014). He is also co-editor and contributing author of the book, Ritual Abuse in the 21st Century: Psychological, Forensic, Social and Political Considerations (Robert Reed, 2008).
The Making of the Book Cult and Ritual Abuse: Narratives, Evidence, and Healing Approaches
In 1979 I was serving as a USAF psychologist in England. It was there that I heard one of my clients tell a story of a bizarre sex party that included people wearing robes and chanting to Satan. I presumed that this was something very unusual and not likely to recur in my psychological practice. Later in the mid-1980s I began hearing client narratives describing what they referred to as ritual abuse. I sought more information about this phenomenon but there was little in the way of research or professional literature that addressed either the existence of ritual abuse or the treatment of the potentially disabling psychological problems produced in some survivors. In fact, most of the literature was composed of anecdotal experiences and religiously oriented speculation. I undertook the arduous task of reviewing the historical and anthropological evidence for ritual abuse in many cultures and compared these with contemporaneous reports of more than 300 alleged ritual abuse survivors and found remarkable similarities. The book Cult and Ritual Abuse: Its History, Anthropology, and Recent Discovery (Praeger, 1995, 2000), and Cult and Ritual Abuse: Narratives, Evidence, and Healing Approaches (Praeger, 2014) are the result. Pamela Noblitt is a Social Security Disability claimant’s representative in independent private practice. Formerly with the national firm of Binder and Binder, Pam has represented over 1,000 claimants in their efforts to obtain the benefits to which they were entitled. She has presented on the topic of Social Security several times and has collaborated with her husband, Randy, on articles published in Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, addressing clinicians’ responsibilities in Social Security Disability cases.
Documenting Disability: How to Prepare a Social Security Disability Strategy
Many Social Security disability cases are won or lost by the quality of the evidence for disability which includes medical and psychotherapy records as well as professional opinions regarding the toll the claimant’s condition takes on their personal, educational, and vocational lives. This presentation offers guidance and suggestions for clinicians and potential claimants about effective documenting practices for disability claims. Included are sample documents that correspond with Social Security Disability definitions and criteria. (Skype presentation)
Eileen Aveni LMSW, ACSW, BCD, AAETS is a psychotherapist with 30+ years in medical and psychiatric settings working alongside other DID, Ritual Abuse, &Mind Control treatment specialists and law enforcement involved in current cases. She has learned from and presented nationally and internationally with some of the noted researchers and practitioners of this field, and consults internationally. Eileen created and led an 8 year long-term therapy for DID/RA/MC survivors. In private practice in Michigan, she also sees clients on Skype. She is Chair of the international Ritual Abuse and Mind Control Special Interest Group, a division of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation.
Jeri Shivans has 25+ years in creating Internet Technology as an executive and founder of companies. She holds advanced degrees in Business and Divinity. Jeri is a survivor who has aided other survivors for 20 years including assisting with a long-term therapy group for RA survivors, and leading a Safe House.

Many of these attacks use the same propaganda techniques, like name calling, insults and repetition as those from the 1980s and 90s. Modern examples will be given and compared to those from prior years.

An 80-year-old man has been arrested over sex crime allegations linked to disgraced TV presenter Jimmy Savile.
The pensioner was held on suspicion of sexual offences in south London on Monday and has been taken into custody, Scotland Yard said.
He is the 14th person to be arrested under Operation Yewtree, the investigation prompted by abuse claims made against late DJ Savile.
The investigation has been run in three strands – those involving Savile, those involving Savile and others, and those involving others.

Until age seven, Maria was subject to satanic abuse. Maria experienced perverse worship, torturous brain programming, sexual violence, body dislocations, and was drugged. Although relocated at age seven, molestation from random strangers and family members continued until she moved out. She lives well with profound awareness. She now experiences joy and peace. Her topic is : Free at Last
Janet Thomas has been in active recovery from the effects of ritual abuse for more than 25 years. Her book, “Day Breaks Over Dharamsala–A Memoir of Life Lost and Found” chronicles her personal journey. “The Battle in Seattle” an earlier book, chronicles the global struggle for justice that we are now seeing rise. She writes and teaches writing in India and in the U.S.
Sarah Jacqueline freed herself through deep self-journey from years of living in hell as an alleged victim of satanic abuse to now survivor. Born into a family of Satanists and has experienced and seen some horrific abuse. She speaks of hope and freeing and illusion. Her topic is: Exposing Satanic Abuse
Alexandra is a multi disciplinary therapist. She incorporates various types of energy work, muscle testing, NLP, essential oils, and color into her cognitive behavioral therapy practice. She has an M. A. in Counseling Psychology and has been working with ritual abuse survivors for over 20 years. Her topic is: What I have learned so far.
Dave Staffen was satanically abused for over 50 years by those he loved and trusted, as well as others who were paid to harm him for his refusal, as a child to join their cult. Dave hopes his story and recovery will help others by giving them hope and courage. His topic is: My Life and Attitudes Before and After My Recovery

Carmen Yana Holiday is a survivor of child pornography, human trafficking, ritual abuse-torture and mind control. Janet Thomas is an author, teacher and activist. Alexandra is a multi disciplinary therapist. She incorporates various types of energy work, muscle testing, NLP, essential oils, and color into her cognitive behavioral therapy practice. Lowell Routley is executive director of Heartland Trauma Initiative, created to serve survivors of extreme trauma. Over his 36 years of clinical experience in the Midwest, Lowell has listened to survivors to find what works, what doesn’t, and why. Out of those observations, he developed The Core Integrity Model. Through Heartland Trauma Initiative, Lowell provides training and consultation for therapists and survivors to explore, understand, and resolve impasses in healing. His topic is: Dissociation and Time Management.

Shamai Currim PhD is a healed survivor from a multi-generations SRA family and a therapist working in private practice in CT. She is a member of RA/MC advocate, study, and online groups, has worked with perpetrators in prisons, and has spoken up for injustice in third world countries. Her topic is: From Victim to Survivor to Advocate
Eileen Schrader is a therapist and a survivor of RA/MC, who has the privilege of treating fellow survivors. She wants all survivors to live the best lives possible, and has advocated for them at the United Nations. She is grateful to her husband, Henry, for his humor and dedication. Her topic is : Programming and Relationships – The Mind Control of Shame
Royal is an SRA/DID survivor from a multi-generational satanic family. For twenty-one years she has invested her life to recover from ritual abuse. Today she works at Hosanna Counseling, helping others heal. She also co-founded Freedom Run Ministries created to educate and challenge the Christian church on the topic of ritual abuse. Adah Sachs (London, UK) is an Attachment-based Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. She is a consultant psychotherapist at the Clinic for Dissociative Studies, an NHS provider for people suffering from severe trauma and dissociation. She is a visiting lecturer and a training supervisor at the John Bowlby Centre, the Centre for Child Mental Health and at the Institute for Arts in Psychotherapy and Education, and lectures widely on trauma. Co-edited (2008) Forensic Aspects of Dissociative Identity Disorder, London, Karnac. Her topic is: The DID RA family.

When Anne A Johnson Davis was three, her mother and stepfather began to torture her in the name of Satan until she ran away at 17. Anne’s memories were recovered in her late 30’s. Shamai Currim PhD is a healed survivor from a multi-generations SRA family and a therapist working in private practice in CT. She is a member of RA/MC advocate, study, and online groups, has worked with perpetrators in prisons, and has spoken up for injustice in third world countries. Her topic is: From Victim to Survivor to Advocate
Eileen Schrader is a therapist and a survivor of RA/MC, who has the privilege of treating fellow survivors. She wants all survivors to live the best lives possible, and has advocated for them at the United Nations. She is grateful to her husband, Henry, for his humor and dedication. Royal is an SRA/DID survivor from a multi-generational satanic family. For twenty-one years she has invested her life to recover from ritual abuse. Today she works at Hosanna Counseling, helping others heal. She also co-founded Freedom Run Ministries created to educate and challenge the Christian church on the topic of ritual abuse. Her topic is: Post-Abortive Stress and the RA survivor – Its causes, impact on RA survivors and the healing steps towards freedom.
Adah Sachs (London, UK) is an Attachment-based Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. She is a consultant psychotherapist at the Clinic for Dissociative Studies, an NHS provider for people suffering from severe trauma and dissociation. She is a visiting lecturer and a training supervisor at the John Bowlby Centre, the Centre for Child Mental Health and at the Institute for Arts in Psychotherapy and Education, and lectures widely on trauma. Co-edited (2008) Forensic Aspects of Dissociative Identity Disorder, London, Karnac. Her topic is: The DID RA family.
