How NYC gun arrest uncovered a huge pedophile Satanic cult

How NYC gun arrest uncovered a huge pedophile Satanic cult

describes crimes

By Social Links for Olivia Land Published Sep. 28, 2023 The arrest of a Queens man on gun charges two years ago has led federal authorities to the discovery of a Satanic pedophile extortion cult that targets minors over the internet, a report said Thursday.

Investigators uncovered the heinous group, named 764, while probing disturbing social media posts made by Angel Almeida, 23, who was busted in November 2021 and charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, according to court documents and a report from The Guardian.

In February, Brooklyn federal prosecutors announced they had filed a superseding indictment against Almeida, adding charges related to child exploitation and enticement of minors.

Prior to Almeida’s arrest, the FBI followed anonymous tips that allegedly linked him to social media accounts containing vile posts about child sex abuse — including one Instagram profile, “@necropedocell,” that featured a photo of what appeared to be a child bound and gagged.

A post on another of Almeida’s alleged Instagram profiles showed him posing with ammunition strapped to his chest, in front of a black flag bearing the logo of the Order of Nine Angels (O9A), which prosecutors described as “a worldwide Satanist … group which embraces elements of neo-Nazism and white supremacy.” When authorities searched Almeida’s home, they allegedly found hundreds of files containing child sex abuse material on four different devices — as well as books related to O9A and Satanism, according to court documents.

They also found a “blood covenant,” an O9A drawing of a hooded figure surrounded by the group’s symbols and smeared with what appears to be blood, the filings state.
On Sept. 12, the FBI issued a public notice about 764, a “violent online group” that is “deliberately targeting minor victims on publicly available messaging platforms to extort them into recording or livestreaming acts of self-harm and producing child sexual abuse material.”

Sources told the Guardian the cult is believed to be an offshoot of O9A — and that law enforcement discovered the group through the investigation in Almeida’s case....Members of 764 are thought to “use threats, blackmail and manipulation” to get vulnerable youth — particularly LGBTQ+ minors, racial minorities and those with mental health issues — to record acts of self-harm, animal abuse, sex acts and suicide, the FBI warning states.

The group targets victims through platforms like Roblox, Discord and Twitch, as well as curated Soundcloud playlists and the encrypted messaging app Telegram, researchers told the Guardian.

There are likely thousands of 764 members, with hundreds more active members trawling these platforms regularly, they added....

Maryland attorney general releases report on decades of sex abuse by Catholic priests

Maryland attorney general releases report on decades of sex abuse by Catholic priests
April 5, 2023 By The Associated Press

BALTIMORE — The Maryland Attorney General's Office has publicly released a redacted version of an investigative report detailing sex abuse allegations against more than 150 Catholic priests and examining the Archdiocese of Baltimore's response.

The redacted findings were made public Wednesday afternoon, marking a significant development in an ongoing legal battle over its release and adding to growing evidence from parish es across the country as numerous similar revelations have rocked the Catholic Church in recent years.

Former Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh launched the probe in 2019 and announced its completion in November, saying investigators had reviewed over 100,000 pages of documents dating back to the 1940s and interviewed hundreds of victims and witnesses. The report's contents weren't immediately released because they include information obtained from church officials via grand jury subpoenas, which are confidential proceedings in Maryland.

Lawyers for the state asked a court for permission to release the nearly 500-page document, which identifies 158 priests accused of abusing more than 600 victims over the past 80 years, and Baltimore Circuit Court Judge Robert Taylor ruled last month that a redacted version should be made public. Officials recently started making the necessary redactions, which included removing the names and titles of 37 people accused of wrongdoing....

State lawmakers are currently considering whether to end the state's statute of limitations for when civil lawsuits related to child sexual abuse can be filed against institutions. Similar proposals have failed in recent years, but the issue received renewed attention this session and the current proposal is nearing passage in Annapolis, where lawmakers have until midnight next Monday to give final approval and send the bill to Gov. Wes Moore, who has said he supports it. Currently, victims of child sex abuse in Maryland can't sue after they turn 38. The bill would eliminate the age limit and allow for retroactive lawsuits....

When Maryland prosecutors asked to release the findings of their recent investigation, they summarized some of the report's contents, which paint a damning picture. Sexual abuse was so pervasive, the filing said, that some parishes, congregations and schools had more than one abusive priest at the same time — including one congregation where 11 abusive priests practiced over 40 years. In some cases, victims ended up reporting abuse to priests who were abusive themselves, prosecutors wrote.

The investigation also revealed that the archdiocese failed to report many allegations of sexual abuse to authorities, conduct adequate investigations, remove abusers from the ministry or restrict their access to children.

"Instead, it went to great lengths to keep the abuse secret," the court filing said. "While the Archdiocese reported a large number of allegations to police, especially in later years, for decades it worked to ensure that the perpetrators would not face justice....

What was the 'Children of God' cult? Twisted sect said to encourage child sex abuse and mass orgies

By Sophie Law 14 JUL 2020

It was a secretive religious cult reportedly known for mass 'Jesus' orgies and encouraging the sexual abuse of children - some as young as two years old.
The 'Children of God' sect, now known as The Family International, had communities scattered across Scotland and still operates today.

It hit the headlines today after a paedophile cult member has admitted raping two little girls in Scotland.
Derek Lincoln appeared at Glasgow High Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the children - aged nine and 11 - over a two year period between 1989 and 1991.

The 74-year-old was extradited from France in 2019 on a European Arrest warrant following his involvement with the religious cult.
The 'Children of God' was started in the US in the late 1960s by its founder, David Berg - who called himself Moses.

He told members that God was love and love was sex regardless of age or relationship. He died in 1994 while on the run from the FBI.
The notorious cult leader told followers to celebrate God with mass sex orgies and fantasise about romps with Jesus while performing sex acts, according Jo Thornely’s book Zealot.

Mr Berg issued a “Mo Letter” containing a list of things you could say to Jesus while you pretended you were making love to him....

Mr Berg issued a “Mo Letter” containing a list of things you could say to Jesus while you pretended you were making love to him.
There have been horrific reports from ex-members of sexual violence, incest, and brainwashing.
It’s also been reported the cult brainwashed its child members into believing sex acts were all part of God’s expression of love and actively encouraged sexual activities among minors as young as two or three years old.
Many ex-members have spoken out about the horrific abuse they experienced as youngsters before escaping.
Alexander Watt was the first British member of the cult to stand trial for child sex abuse when he was convicted in Scotland.

Joker star Joaquin Phoenix and Hollywood actress Rose McGowan were born into the cult.
The late actor River Phoenix, who was Joaquin's older brother, told Details Magazine in 1991 that he was four when he first had sex while in the group....

The cult now goes by the name of The Family International and is still active today.
They since have claimed a zero-tolerance policy regarding sexual interaction between adults and underage minors.

Sex cult led by elderly man known as 'The Doctor' uncovered
Jul 21, 2020

A septuagenarian known only as ‘The Doctor’ was behind a sex cult in northern Italy in which followers were abused and brainwashed, say authorities who uncovered the alleged activity.

Police say the leader of the cult, a 77-year-old man whom they have not named, used businesses such as dance schools, herbalists, craft shops and a publishing house as an allure to target the vulnerable and often women of wealth.
The man would then indoctrinate them by subjecting the women to ‘unbearable violence and abuse of all kinds’, say police.

Raids were carried out against the group, which was based near Milan in a town called Novara, on suspicion of slavery and sexual abuse, including young girls.
Officers say the group was structured like a pyramid with the most fervent followers closest to The Doctor, those who were skeptical towards the bottom....

Once immersed in the cult, which police say existed for 30 years, the women would be convinced to sever all family ties or else coax their relatives to join.
They would then be put to work for the group with The Doctor deciding what job best suited them.
Because some of the women were also given houses, their survival was entirely dependent on the cult.

Cardinal George Pell highest-ranking Catholic cleric convicted of child sex abuse, Ritual Abuse Conferences in 2019

Cardinal George Pell sentenced to 6 years in prison for child sex abuse
Pell is the highest-ranking Catholic cleric worldwide to be convicted of child sex abuse .
March 12, 2019  By Doha Madani and Associated Press

The most senior Catholic cleric ever to be convicted of child sex abuse was sentenced to six years in prison in Australia on Wednesday morning.

Cardinal George Pell, 77, faced as many as 50 years in prison after being convicted in December for the molestation of two choir boys while he was the archbishop of Melbourne in the 1990s. Pell must serve a minimum of three years and eight months before he is eligible for parole.

He will spend the rest of his life as a registered sex offender.

Pell was convicted for the assault of the 13-year-old boys after he caught them swigging sacramental wine in a rear room of Melbourne's St. Patrick's Cathedral in late 1996.

The jury also found Pell guilty of indecently assaulting one of the boys in a corridor more than a month later....
During the nearly hour-long sentencing remarks, Kidd called Pell's attack "brazen" and suggested that the cleric was "breathtakingly arrogant" in his attack on the young boys.

"There is no evidence of your remorse or contrition," Kidd said Wednesday in court....

A spokesman for the Vatican also said that Pell was no longer head of the Secretariat for the Economy, a post that oversees the Vatican's finances.

R. Kelly leaves Chicago jail after posting 100K bail for criminal sex charges
Jayme Deerwester, USA TODAY Feb. 25, 2019

R. Kelly has been freed from jail in Chicago after posting bail following multiple charges of criminal sexual abuse, the Cook County Sheriff's Office confirms to USA TODAY.

Earlier Monday, Cook County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari told USA TODAY that the R&B singer, who spent the weekend in jail, posted $100,000, or 10 percent of the $1 million bond set Saturday.
The terms of Kelly's release prohibit him from having any contact with females under the age of 18.
Earlier in the day, Kelly pleaded not guilty to 10 felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He appeared in an orange jumpsuit during his arraignment on four separate indictments.

The indictments describe the case of four women – three of whom were underage at the time of the alleged sexual abuse. Kelly, who was acquitted of child pornography charges in 2008, has denied wrongdoing....

'Surviving R. Kelly' Executive Producer Reacts to R. Kelly Charges and Singer Being Unable to Make Bail
2/25/2019 by Jackie Strause

The ecosystem that enabled R. Kelly's alleged toxic behavior, including sexual abuse claims dating back decades, partly explains why the Grammy-nominated R&B singer can't make bail, Surviving R. Kelly executive producer Dream Hampton said Monday.

"He has gone broke holding women in his studio," Hampton said during a CBS This Morning interview when reacting to the charges Kelly now faces. "This lifestyle that he has, moving women — girls — state-to-state where their parents can't find them, he's gone broke doing this."

Kelly was arrested Friday on 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse involving four females, three of whom were minors. He remains jailed after a judge on Saturday set his bond at $1 million. Kelly's attorney, Steve Greenberg, said meeting Kelly's $100,000 bail payment while he awaits trial is complicated, blaming mismanagement and bad contracts for why the singer isn't wealthy despite decades of success. According to CNN, Kelly also owed more than $169,000 in unpaid child support and $166,000 in unpaid rent on his Chicago recording studio, which he has since vacated.

On Monday afternoon, Kelly pleaded not guilty on the sex abuse charges and remained jailed as of the time of this story.

Lifetime's hit docuseries Surviving R. Kelly has played a key role in Kelly's indictment. After its debut in January, Chicago prosecutors began seeking information and sent a call out for alleged Kelly victims to come forward. The explosive claims in the six-part doc included sexual abuse allegations from multiple women, several who were underage at the time of the alleged assaults, who were interviewed on-camera....
Hampton, a filmmaker and activist, and her team spoke to many women for Surviving R. Kelly to paint the doc's horrifying, detailed picture of how Kelly's alleged abuse spanned 30 years. Many women were featured in the doc, and Hampton says she and her team spoke to many more who would corroborate claims, but who wouldn't participate on camera for fear of being harassed. Hampton has said she believes Kelly's behavior went on for so long because many of his victims were black women and society has a "knee-jerk reaction to protect black men" at the expense of black women....

Cardinal George Pell, Pope Francis' top financial adviser, convicted of child sex abuse

Rod McGuirk, Associated Press Feb. 25, 2019
MELBOURNE, Australia – The most senior Catholic cleric ever charged with child sex abuse has been convicted of molesting two choirboys moments after celebrating Mass, dealing a new blow to the Catholic hierarchy’s credibility after a year of global revelations of abuse and cover-up.

Cardinal George Pell, Pope Francis’ top financial adviser and the Vatican’s economy minister, bowed his head but then regained his composure as the 12-member jury delivered unanimous verdicts in the Victoria state County Court on Dec. 11 after more than two days of deliberation.

The court had until Tuesday forbidden publication of any details about the trial.
The convictions were confirmed the same week that Francis concluded his extraordinary summit of Catholic leaders summoned to Rome for a tutorial on preventing clergy sexual abuse and protecting children from predator priests.

The jury convicted Pell of abusing two 13-year-old boys whom he had caught swigging sacramental wine in a rear room of Melbourne’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral in late 1996, as hundreds of worshippers were streaming out of Sunday services.

Pell, now 77 but 55 at the time, had just been named the most senior Catholic in Australia’s second-largest city, Melbourne.
The jury also found Pell guilty of indecently assaulting one of the boys in a corridor more than a month later.
He faces a potential maximum 50-year prison term after a sentencing hearing that begins on Wednesday. He has foreshadowed an appeal.
Pell had maintained his innocence throughout....

Anglican Church priest arrested for series of sex crimes committed during time with Fresno church
By Corin Hoggard and Jason Oliveira
2/15/19 FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) --

Fresno Police have arrested an Anglican Church priest for a series of sex crimes during his more than a decade with the local church.

Jesus Antonio Castaneda Serna was arrested early Sunday at the Central Fresno church he started -- Holy Spirit.

Twenty-two parishioners have come forward to say they'd been victimized by the Anglican Priest but according to police many of the victims are undocumented and afraid to report the crimes to law enforcement.
The arrest comes after a 13-month investigation. Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyers believes the sex crimes date back years and could have hundreds of victims....

Two victims did speak to detectives and say Serna would invite them to his Shaw Avenue office where he would perform what he called a "healing ritual" that involved a massage table, oils and would then turn into sexual contact.
The two male adult victims said Serna told them the repeated rituals would remove a curse or earn them forgiveness for their sins....

Illinois AG says Catholic Church failed to disclose abuse accusations against 500 priests and clergy
By Daniel Burke, CNN Religion Editor Thu December 20, 2018

(CNN) In yet another blow to the Catholic Church in the United States, Illinois' attorney general says the state's six dioceses have failed to disclose accusations of sexual abuse against at least 500 priests and clergy members.
Illinois' dioceses have released lists publicly identifying 185 clergy members who had been credibly accused of child sex abuse. But state Attorney General Lisa Madigan said preliminary findings in her investigation reveal that the church failed to disclose sexual abuse allegations against at least 500 additional priests and clergy members.

In many cases, the accusations have "not been adequately investigated by the dioceses or not investigated at all," Madigan's office said in a statement Wednesday. What's more, the statement added, the church often failed to notify law enforcement authorities or the state's Department of Children and Family Services about the allegations.

"By choosing not to thoroughly investigate allegations, the Catholic Church has failed in its moral obligation to provide survivors, parishioners and the public a complete and accurate accounting of all sexually inappropriate behavior involving priests in Illinois," Madigan said in the statement.

"The failure to investigate also means that the Catholic Church has never made an effort to determine whether the conduct of the accused priests was ignored or covered up by superiors."

Madigan began her investigation in August, after a Pennsylvania grand jury released a damning report detailing horrific abuses by 300 Catholic clergy against more than 1,000 victims since the 1950s. In the aftermath, 36 dioceses have publicized self-reported lists of clergy "credibly accused" of abusing minors. (There are 197 dioceses in the United States.)....

Based on her review of the Illinois dioceses' internal files, the attorney general says the dioceses have received sex-abuse-related allegations against approximately 690 clergy. But they publicly reported just 185 of the allegations.
Nearly 75% of the allegations were either not investigated or were investigated but not substantiated, according to the report....

"The dioceses also often found reasons to discredit survivors' stories of abuse by focusing on the survivors' personal lives," the report says....

In December, the Society of Jesus, popularly known as the Jesuits, released lists from four American provinces of more than 230 priests who had been credibly accused of abusing minors....

Living in fear of FGM in Sierra Leone: ‘I’m not safe in this community’
A 10-year-old girl has died after undergoing female genital mutilation during a mass initiation into a secret society in Sierra Leone.

The girl, one of 68 involved in the rite, bled to death on Tuesday following complications from the FGM procedure.

Activists said the ceremony took place in the “bondo bush” – secluded forest – in the northern province of Tonkolili district, roughly 150 miles east of the capital, Freetown.

A number of women, as well as cutters, known as soweis, are now on the run, among them the deceased girl’s mother, said Rugiatu Turay, a former government minister who founded the Amazonian Initiative Movement, a grassroots group dedicated to ending FGM.

The girl, who has been named as Marie Kamera, had just sat her year-five exams when she was rushed off to the initiation, said Turay.
“As soon as she dropped the pen, she was taken away,” she said. “This is the second time that a girl has died in that family: one of the sisters died of excessive bleeding after being initiated two years ago, and the father was against it this time, but the mother is the breadwinner in the family and she wanted it....

FGM is a common practice in Sierra Leone, where nine in 10 girls are cut, often with crude instruments such as penknives, broken glass and razor blades, according to the World Health Organization. The ritual involves the partial or full removal of the female genitalia and can cause serious health injuries.

Although it has been technically banned since emergency health measures were introduced after the 2014 Ebola outbreak, FGM has a strong government lobby. As a result, the government is one of only a few globally that has failed to outlaw the practice, said Turay....

Truth about CIA’s illegal MKUltra mind-control experiments – using drugs, hypnosis and electronic devices- revealed in sensational new documents officials hid for decades

The records “rewrite the history” of the CIA’s covert and illegal MKUltra project, according to researcher John Greenewald Jr who spent almost 20 years trying to obtain the documents
By Emma Parry, Digital US Correspondent 7th December 2018

DISTURBING details of secret mind-control experiments carried out by the CIA have been revealed in newly released documents - that officials have been trying to hide for decades.

The new documents, released under the Freedom of Information Act, reveal how the CIA experimented on both humans and animals using drugs, hypnosis and electronic devices as part of the top secret - and illegal - mind control project MKUltra.

Shockingly the swathes of information still missing or redacted in the records could mean the CIA is STILL carrying out the experiments to this day, according to experts.

One document details how the CIA planned to drug “criminals awaiting trial held in a prison hospital ward” in a bid to develop “improved techniques in drug interrogation”.

Another document details the CIA’s interest in developing ways to cause amnesia in humans using experiments “no matter how weird, inconclusive or unusual”.

It goes on to detail how they were looking to find ways of developing hypnotic speaking techniques which would control the minds of “large audiences” and “heighten group susceptibility”.

Experiments which were “too dangerous, too shocking, too unusual for routine testing would be of interest to us,” the memo from 1956 reads.
The records also detail mind control experiments on dogs, cats and mice with a cocktail of drugs and by implanting electronic devices - most likely as a precursor to human experiments....

The records were obtained by researcher John Greenewald Jr, who published them last week on his website The Black Vault....
John said: “Are the CIA still trying to cover up projects that took place in the 50s and 60s? In my opinion yes.

“They are trying to cover it up and that is evidenced not just by what I went through to get the documents but the documents themselves.
“So you'll see through these records they were doing a lot of different types of research with drugs on cats and dogs and other animals.

“They were implanting electronic devices into animals to see whether electronic impulses can essentially control the brain....

MKUltra was the code name for a top secret and illegal programme of human experiments which the CIA carried out in the early 50s until it was official halted in 1973.

The aim of the project was to identify and develop mind-control drugs and procedures to be used in interrogations and torture in a bid to force confessions and control behaviour.

Although the CIA admitted to running the covert operation during congressional hearings in the 70s, they claimed that all records relating to it had been destroyed.

John’s battle for information started in 1999, when he requested the only documents relating to MKUltra that the CIA said had not been destroyed - 30,000 pages of financial records....

The Bitter Secret of ‘Wormwood’ - Frank Olson - MK-Ultra, Archbishop found guilty of concealing child sex abuse

" We do know that the cold war bequeathed a branch of behavioral science built around the desire to discover universal psychological mechanisms through which human beings could be manipulated."

The Bitter Secret of ‘Wormwood’
Tamsin Shaw

....In Errol Morris’s new series, Wormwood, which blends documentary with dramatic reconstructions, he sets out to explore an episode in the history of US intelligence that is irresistibly sensational, the CIA’s cold war “mind control” program of the 1950s and 1960s. Code-named MK-ULTRA, the program involved agents experimenting with methods for gaining full control of a person’s thoughts and behavior using LSD, hypnosis, electric shocks, and other bizarre means—the films The Ipcress File (1965) and The Parallax View (1974) show cool, stylized versions. The thesis offered by Wormwood’s principal subjects is that, during the same period, the CIA ran an authorized, extrajudicial execution program of dissenting agents who were active in the agency’s secret operations.

....The six-part series focuses on the death of Frank Olson, an army scientist who worked on biological weapons research at Camp Detrick, a US army camp in Maryland, but who subsequently became a CIA operative involved in Project ARTICHOKE, a predecessor to MK-ULTRA that focused, with brutal rigor, on interrogation methods. When the Rockefeller Commission (established by President Gerald Ford in 1975 to investigate potentially illegal CIA programs, and led by Vice President Nelson Rockefeller) examined records of his death, which occurred in November 1953, it reported that Olson had been secretly dosed with LSD by the CIA several days beforehand. The existing CIA documents (many had been destroyed) created the impression that Olson had then sunk into a severe depression before jumping not just out of, but directly through, his New York hotel room’s thirteenth-floor window, smashing its glass pane.

....Surprisingly, though, the most jarring and psychologically revealing interviews are not with Olson’s son, but with Hersh. More than forty years after Hersh broke the story, Eric Olson confronted him in 2016 (the year before Morris made the documentary) with fresh evidence, including a new autopsy report that, he claimed, demonstrated the suicide story was false; it was a murder. Eric also insisted that Hersh had been taken in, by the CIA, that he had “swallowed the cover story” about LSD, when, in fact, his father was silenced because of his involvement in Project ARTICHOKE and in bioweapons research, about which he had loudly expressed serious moral qualms. After initially dismissing Olson’s theory, Hersh went back to a CIA source, someone he describes as a trusted friend, to investigate further.
....To date, the Senate’s Church Committee reports and the White House’s Rockefeller Commission report on the US intelligence agencies have been by far the most comprehensive studies holding these agencies to account that have yet been made public; they came out now more than forty years ago. The House Committee that investigated the same affairs, chaired by the Long Island Democrat Otis Pike, didn’t release its report because of congressional opposition. The published reports contained lurid and shocking information, including CIA drug experiments and assassination plots, FBI harassment of dissidents, the deliberate incitement of violence (including murder) in the black community, and the manipulation of elections in democratic countries. These were dark times for the agencies. The story of Frank Olson’s supposedly LSD-induced suicide was one of the episodes that dominated coverage, shedding light on the sinister mind-control program, which captured the public imagination. But if Wormwood’s claims are true, this public reckoning was itself tainted by lies, elaborately concocted cover stories, and forged documents.

The forces that had been set in motion after the war by the new Central Intelligence Agency (established in 1947) could not entirely be reined in. Nelson Rockefeller already had some experience of this independent momentum. He had been an early proponent of psychological operations, targeting Latin American populations that were subjected to Nazi propaganda during World War II. Serving under Eisenhower as Special Assistant to the President for Foreign Affairs, he tried to establish institutions for coordinating security policies—and this was broadly understood to mean psychological operations—from the White House, by creating boards that included representatives from the State Department, the Pentagon, and the CIA. But Rockefeller couldn’t secure the cooperation of either John Foster Dulles, then secretary of state, or Allen Dulles, the CIA director.

....Allen Dulles was unrestrained in his cultivation of behavioral science initiatives that would assist in the manipulation of individuals and societies. The dramatic term “brainwashing” became popular in describing this attempt to discover fundamental mechanisms through which human thought and behavior could be controlled. Many of America’s most distinguished behavioral scientists, who had served in the OSS (forerunner to the CIA) during the war, competing with the Nazis to develop techniques of manipulation, then transitioned seamlessly into this new cold war effort. (The Americans prosecuted Dachau’s doctors at Nuremberg—but not before they had plundered Dachau for the results of the Nazis’ studies on the use of mescaline and other drugs for mind control.)

In a 1949 study for the US Air Force, Yale’s Irving Janis claimed that the Soviets were using hypnosis, drugs, electroshock, and other means to extract false confessions. He thereby helped to lay out the program followed in the CIA’s mind-control research. This program was funded primarily via the Office of Naval Research and the National Science Foundation, and, under various pretexts, the most prominent social psychologists at America’s Ivy League universities experimented very freely with those methods.

....But mind-control research was not confined to the attempted manufacture of “Manchurian candidate” obedient spies and the spread of propaganda in Communist countries. The cold war, it was thought, could be won abroad through the capturing of hearts and minds, but it could equally be lost at home if the American people lacked commitment or resilience. There was a great deal of concern within the national security community that Americans were not as psychologically resilient as the Soviets and would therefore be less able to cope with the threat of a nuclear strike, or to absorb a first strike by the USSR. Janis authored an important RAND report on this topic, entitled Air War and Emotional Stress: Psychological Studies of Bombing and Civilian Defense, in which he used data collected from interviews conducted after air attacks during World War II in order to outline research proposals addressing “the problem of providing adequate psychological preparation for the American population so as to prevent inappropriate and disruptive behavior.” The study of large-scale psychological manipulation was intended to find ways of producing conformity to norms of “appropriate” behavior during a thermonuclear war.

The precise extent to which active deception was necessary to acclimate the American public to the horrifying absurdities of the cold war is still unknown. In Wormwood, we are told that Frank Olson came to believe that the American public was being elaborately deceived about the US use of biological weapons in the Korean War. Morris shows footage of articulate but apparently “brainwashed” prisoners making “false confessions” to using germ warfare.

....We do know that the cold war bequeathed a branch of behavioral science built around the desire to discover universal psychological mechanisms through which human beings could be manipulated. The most famous experiments of mind-control research from the era are the shock experiments conducted by Stanley Milgram at Yale in 1961–1962. (Peter Sarsgaard, as it happens, played Milgram in a 2015 movie about these tests called Experimenter.) Milgram led his subjects to believe that they were administering electric shocks to a man in an adjacent room whenever he got an answer wrong on a quiz, but the man apparently screaming in pain was a hired actor. In one study, 65 percent of the subjects were prepared to turn the shocks up to the maximum level, labeled “Danger. Severe Shock.” Both the Office of Naval Research and the National Science foundation were interested in funding this research into “action conformity” in which Milgram aimed to compel people to act “in violation of deeply rooted standards of behavior.” His research proposal claimed that he would shed light on the techniques used by “the red Chinese in trying to extract compliance from our troops in POW camps” (later, in the press, he would represent the experiments to the public as attempts to understand obedience to the Nazis).

In Experimenter, and in Milgram’s own films of the experiments, we can watch in horror and fascination as the duped subjects, anxious and perspiring, obey. Sarsgaard’s Milgram keeps a very straight face (Milgram himself confessed to being inspired in his experimental designs by the TV show Candid Camera), but we can smirk as we watch. The real secret Milgram hid, though, was that his work was intended to confer on America’s intelligence community superior knowledge of how to control people’s minds. He was part of a profession that claimed to know us better than we know ourselves.....

Archbishop Philip Wilson found guilty of concealing child sex abuse
By Sam Rigney 22 May 2018

Adelaide Archbishop Philip Wilson has been put on notice that he could expect a jail term after he was found guilty on Tuesday of concealing historical child abuse allegations against another priest.
In a landmark decision that could have wide-reaching implications for other high-ranking clergy members, Magistrate Robert Stone found Archbishop Wilson had been told by a 15-year-old boy in 1976 that he had been indecently assaulted by notorious Hunter paedophile priest Father James Fletcher, but chose not to go to the authorities despite believing the allegations were true.

Former UK prime minister Edward Heath child sex and ritual abuse allegations, Roman Polanski under investigation over new rape allegations

Late UK prime minister would have faced child sex abuse questioning

By Sarah Ward, SWNS
October 5, 2017
Former UK prime minister Sir Edward Heath would have been quizzed by police over child sex allegations including the rape of an 11-year-old “rent boy,” an investigation revealed Thursday.

Wiltshire Police said the former MP – who allegedly took part in Satanic sex – would have been questioned under caution over five alleged attacks on children and two on adults.

The disturbing allegations – described as “chance” or “paid for sexual encounters” – span the 60s, 70s and 90s and took place in London, Kent, Sussex, Guernsey and Jersey.

Two of the alleged assaults took place in Wiltshire – where Heath had a mansion – including a “chance” attack on a 12, 13 or 14-year-old boy in private gardens.

In the most disturbing allegation, Heath allegedly raped an 11-year-old boy he paid to abuse in a home in London in 1961, while he was a cabinet member.

Some of the alleged assaults took place in public places or buildings – and one alleged attack on a boy took place in the company of another man. Another alleged attack on a 15-year-old boy in a public building in Guernsey took place while he was the leader of the Conservatives.

During the course of the investigation, six victims told police Heath was involved in Satanic or ritual abuse.

Investigators defined it as “offenses committed using symbols, ceremonies or group activities that appeared to have a religious or supernatural meaning” – but said they found no evidence.

The seven total alleged attacks were reported to police between April 2015 and June 2016 – and were among 42 allegations of sex assaults made to police.

The findings were revealed Thursday by Wiltshire Police following a controversial two-year $1.9 million investigation....

Some 42 alleged victims reported abuse involving Heath – 26 named individuals, ten reports by a third party, three anonymous reports and three who later realized they were “genuinely mistaken.”

None of the seven allegations, which Heath would have been interviewed about, occurred while he was PM.

Among the 42 allegations was one from a rent boy working in a Salisbury brothel who claimed he was abused by the politician and three male sex workers.

Six victims claimed Heath was involved in Satanic or ritual abuse, but two died before Operation Conifer began.

“Following the investigation, no further corroborative evidence was found to support the disclosures that Heath was involved in ritual abuse,” the report said.

Allegations were also made that Heath was involved in murdering children aboard his yachts, but no evidence was discovered to suggest this happened, the report said.

Three victims made allegations of organized pedophile activity within military settings and two accused Heath of committing abuses in Wiltshire.

Police case papers from 1989 relating to a criminal investigation into two of the victims’ parents mentioned allegations made about Heath, the report said....

Sir Edward’s friends have previously accused police of a witch hunt.

They insisted he could not have carried such crimes because he could not drive, was under 24-hour police guard and was asexual.

But the report revealed he owned two cars, was not watched around the clock and did have sexual relationships....

They will now be passed to the Independent Inquiry Into Child Sexual Abuse.

Roman Polanski under investigation by Swiss police over new rape allegations

A woman named Renate Langer interviewed by police says the film-maker raped her in the town of Gstaad when she was 15, in 1972

Agence France-Presse in Geneva

Tuesday 3 October 2017
Swiss police are investigating new rape allegations against Roman Polanski made by a woman who said the film-maker assaulted her in the town of Gstaad in 1972.

St Gallen’s police communications chief, Hanspeter Krüsi, confirmed the details of the allegations, first reported by the New York Times.

Krüsi told AFP that police interviewed Renate Langer on 26 September concerning accusations that Polanski raped her in Gstaad when she was 15.

Polanski in 1977 pleaded guilty in the United States to having unlawful sex with Samantha Geimer – aged 13 at the time – but fled the country before he could be sentenced. He remains a fugitive from the US justice system.

Langer is a 61-year-old former actress who was born in Munich, according to multiple media reports.

She is the fourth woman to publicly accuse Polanski of sexual assault.

In August, a woman identified only as Robin told a news conference in Los Angeles she was “sexually victimised” by the French-Polish film director when she was 16, in 1973....

Fort Polk soldier writes horror novel - and it's based on real-life events
Sunday Jan 15, 2017 By RACHEL STEFFAN

Sgt. 1st Class Joseph "Joe" Willie, a Hammond native, writes under the name of J.P. Willie. He has served 17 years in the Army, with three to go until retirement. He has been all over the world. Now he is back in Louisiana at Fort Polk, with his wife Corrie and their five children.

One might assume that growing up in rural Hammond, Louisiana, Willie would have had a quiet, southern upbringing, and he did. But he had some horrific, first-hand experiences due to a long string of activities surrounding the occult, and these fueled his first novel....

the inspiration for his novel, "Blood in the Woods," comes from a different place.

...he felt he could write a horror novel about the things that happened in this area.

The story, about the devious and violent activities of devil worshippers, is based on actual events from Hammond in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The book is officially fictional because he dramatized the story, however, it is based in his real experiences, memories, and court documents.

Willie recalls that he and childhood friends would sometimes find small animals gutted open on a makeshift altar in the woods. That is in the book, and the group of friends in this coming-of-age novel are also real....

The real-life case

This case made Tangipahoa Parish infamous for some time, and it still comes up in pop culture. The events which took place in and around Hosanna Church may have served as inspiration for the 2014 HBO series "True Detective."

"Some people in Hammond are still uncomfortable talking about it," Willie said,

In May 2005, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards, told The Baton Rouge Advocate that members of the Ponchatoula cult, who were accused of abusing children and animals, said they carried out the practices for years as part of a devil worshiping ritual involving cat blood.

Willie said the regular pastor of Hosanna Church, Louis Lamonica Jr., ran these rituals inside the church at night. Lamonica's own children were being assaulted by the "dark congregation."

In his confession, Lamonica claimed he had performed satanic rituals, child sexual abuse, and animal sacrifice in the church, and that he was not alone. He asserted that there were five other participants, including his wife, Robin, and, notably, a sheriff's deputy, Chris Labat.

Willie's point of view is particularly poignant as a writer, because he was a kid running around, bumping into the remnants of the cult's activities. He is not just telling someone else's story.

As the summary on his book states, the characters spent their time "playing in the woods, shooting pellet guns, blowing up mailboxes, fighting at school, and the beginnings of interests in girls." Eventually, the characters "stumble upon something horrific in the woods one evening and their lives quickly take a turn."

"The book is extremely graphic and truly disturbing, especially to parents," Willie said.

Willie makes the distinction between Satanists and devil worshippers.

"I knew some soldiers who were open Satanists," he said. "They told me quite a bit about it. They don't believe in God or a devil. Their antics are a mockery of the Catholic Church. They believe they are their own gods, and they do whatever their hearts desire."....

Devil worshippers, meanwhile, take violent action and maintain religious rituals.

"It's a lot of blood sacrificial offerings. Out in the country, where I lived, there were lots of cattle and farmers. Devil worshippers were killing cows and ripping their hearts out on a regular basis."

Willie emphasized that the book is not promoting or glorifying these occult activities....

Sunil Rastogi linked to 58 cases of child abuse
Somreet Bhattacharya TNN Jan 18, 2017

NEW DELHI: It cannot have been an easy task given that paedophile Sunil Rastogi confessed to 500 criminal acts over a dozen years, but Delhi Police has now pinpointed 58 of them, greatly increasing the chances of the sexual predator being put behind bars for life.

Only 15 cases of children being sexually assaulted by Rastogi were registered with the cops. Probe revealed that since 2004, Rastogi was detained thrice at police stations in Uttarkhand, UP and Delhi, but obtained release easily enough. After 2008, the 38-year-old had reduced his forays into Delhi when the laws regarding sexual assaults were strengthened.

The findings showed that while five cases were registered in east Delhi between 2004 and 2017, two incidents were reported from Udhampur, two from Rampur and three from Ghaziabad. In the same period, three cases were documented in Rudrapur in Uttrakhand.

Police said they had contacted the victims in three other cases that have surfaced in Delhi and requested them register a police complaint. A joint police team comprising cops from Delhi, Uttarakhand and UP is now trying to convince victims of the identified incidents to register complaints to ensure a watertight case against Rastogi. "We will seek Rastogi's police custody if the charges against him are strong enough," said Omvir Singh Bishnoi, DCP (East)....

After his arrest last Saturday, Rastogi claimed that he had first committed a sexual crime while living in Delhi with his family, the victim being a neighbour at the slum near Kalyanpuri. A case in this regard was registered in 2004 at the Ghazipur police station under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty). However, the law had permitted Rastogi to seek a bail from the police station itself. The cops are trying to trace the victim to convince her to record a fresh statement....

A Boalsburg man charged with more than 1,000 felony counts of sexual abuse was sentenced on Tuesday to 20 to 40 years in prison.

Richard Garmat, 60, was accused by a family member of sexual abuse last year. The family member claimed the abuse began in fifth grade and continued until the minor was 15.

Garmat was charged in June with 1,202 counts, including 504 felony counts of unlawful contact with a minor, 123 felony counts of aggravated indecent assault without consent and 209 felony counts of indecent assault of a person younger than 13 years of age.....

The victim spoke to Ruest prior to sentencing, saying Garmat was someone “who used me, made me feel worthless and ashamed and useless to the world.”

“I will not stay broken,” the victim said, “and I will know I am healing knowing he will be held accountable for his actions.”....

Minnesota cult leader charged with 59 counts of child sex abuse, British paedophile sentenced to 85 years in US for trafficking child abuse images

Minnesota cult leader charged with 59 counts of child sex abuse

Published June 21, 2016 Fox News Latino
PINE CITY, Minn. (AP) –  A judge set bail at $1.5 million Monday for a religious sect leader who's charged with sexually abusing girls at a secluded compound in rural Minnesota.

Victor Barnard, 54, made his first state court appearance since his extradition from Brazil. U.S. marshals delivered him to the Pine County Jail on Saturday.

Pine County prosecutors charged Barnard in April 2014 with 59 counts of criminal sexual conduct for allegedly having sexual relationships with two girls in his "Maidens Group" at his River Road Fellowship compound near Finlayson, about 90 miles north of Minneapolis.

The U.S. Marshals Service put him on its most wanted fugitives list, and authorities finally caught up with him in a Brazilian resort town in February 2015. Brazilian authorities said he had arrived in Brazil in March 2012....

According to the criminal complaint, the two women told investigators they were among about 10 girls and young women who were chosen to live apart from their families in what was called the Shepherd's Camp. One alleged Barnard started abusing her when she was 13, continuing until she was 22. The other said she was abused between ages 12 and 20.

Investigators have said Barnard used religious coercion and intimidation to maintain his control over them. They've also said they believe Barnard abused other girls but were unable to get others to come forward....

British paedophile sentenced to 85 years in US for trafficking child abuse images
Domminich Shaw, a ‘kingpin’ of sexual violence against children, sent dozens of images online and discussed plans to assault and kill a child while on probation

Jon Swaine in New York  Wednesday 29 June 2016
A convicted British paedophile has been sentenced to 85 years in an American prison for running an online exchange of child abuse images while he was on probation.

Domminich Shaw used the unprotected wireless internet connections of his neighbours in west London to traffic in dozens of videos and pictures of babies and toddlers being sexually abused. He also discussed a plan to kidnap, rape and murder a child.

Shaw, 35, began trading the material almost immediately after being released from a three-year prison sentence in the UK in 2008 for sexually assaulting four young girls, prosecutors said, raising questions about the supervision of British sex offenders.

Prosecutors said Shaw was “among the worst offenders involved in child pornography trafficking ever encountered by United States law enforcement” and they had requested a 570-year sentence. “No such person should be walking the streets,” they said.

He was sentenced this week by a federal judge in Indiana after pleading guilty to 26 charges including conspiracies to receive, distribute and advertise child abuse images. He was extradited from the UK in December 2014.

“Shaw was in every measurable respect the kingpin and primary promoter of sexual violence and abuse involving tragically young and vulnerable children” in his online circle of paedophiles, according to a court filing by the US government.

Report: Joe Paterno told alleged Jerry Sandusky victim to forget about sex abuse, Penn State settlements covered 1971 Sandusky abuse claim

Report: Joe Paterno told alleged Jerry Sandusky victim to forget about sex abuse
USA TODAY Sports May 7, 2016

A court order claims that former Penn State football coach knew of sexual abuse allegations as early as 1976. USA TODAY Sports

A second report has surfaced that late Penn State coach Joe Paterno was informed in the 1970s of former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky's sexual abuse of children.

In a CNN report released Friday, a man described as a troubled young kid in 1971 said he was raped by Sandusky in a Penn State bathroom. Then, he told CNN, Paterno ignored his complaint about it.

Also Friday, NBC Sports reported that “as many as six” Penn State assistant coaches witnessed abusive acts by Sandusky, dating to the 1970s.

The latest allegations come one day after PennLive reported that Paterno was allegedly told in 1976 about an accusation of child sexual abuse by Sandusky.

The PennLive report cites a court order connected to an insurance coverage case involving Penn State. The order includes a line that one of the school’s insurers has claimed “in 1976, a child allegedly reported to PSU’s Head Coach Joseph Paterno that he (the child) was sexually molested by Sandusky.” The filing also cites incidents of other assistant football coaches witnessing “inappropriate contact between Sandusky and unidentified children.”

Sandusky was convicted of 45 counts of child sex abuse in June 2012, five months after Paterno’s death, and is serving 30 to 60 years in prison. Lawyers for Sandusky, 72, have been in court this week attempting to overturn his conviction.

In CNN's report Friday, the accuser — who was 15 at the time of the alleged attack in 1971 — said he has never before spoken publicly about the abuse but that he did confide in a friend in the 1970s. That friend verified the story, CNN says....

Sandusky victim: Joe Paterno told me to drop abuse accusation
By Sara Ganim, CNN   Sun May 8, 2016

After four years of feuding over the legacy of Joe Paterno, with a few vague details about what he may have known about allegations of sexual abuse by one of his coaches, it is becoming clear there may be much more.

There are now two allegations by men who say they were sexually abused by Jerry Sandusky, who also say they reported their abuse to the legendary coach in the 1970s.

One of those allegations was made public in a court order related to a lawsuit Penn State University filed against its former insurer over who should have to pay settlements to the more than 30 men who have come forward as victims of Sandusky. The victim was not identified, and the details come from a deposition that is sealed.

The other has spoken to CNN, in great detail, explaining how he was a troubled young kid in 1971 when he was raped in a Penn State bathroom by Jerry Sandusky. Then, he says, his complaint about it was ignored by Paterno....

Penn State settlements covered 1971 Sandusky abuse claim
The Associated Press May 9, 2016

Penn State’s legal settlements with Jerry Sandusky’s accusers cover alleged abuse dating to 1971, which was 40 years before his arrest, the university said Sunday, providing the first confirmation of the time frame of abuse claims that have led to big payouts.

The disclosure came as Penn State President Eric Barron decried newly revealed allegations that former football coach Joe Paterno was told in 1976 that Sandusky had sexually abused a child and that two assistant coaches witnessed either inappropriate or sexual contact in the late 1980s. Paterno, who died in 2012, had said the first time he had received a complaint against Sandusky was in 2001.

Barron said the accusations were unsubstantiated, and suggested that the university is being subjected unfairly to what he called rumor and innuendo.

Responding to questions about the president’s statement and claims against the school, university spokesman Lawrence Lokman told The Associated Press he could confirm that the earliest year of alleged abuse covered in Penn State’s settlements is 1971.

Sandusky graduated from Penn State in 1965 and returned as a full-time defensive coach in 1969.

The university has paid out more than $90 million to settle more than 30 civil claims involving Sandusky, now 72 and serving a lengthy prison sentence for the sexual abuse of 10 children. But few details have been provided on the payouts by either the school or lawyers for those who said they were Sandusky’s victims even before the period covered by the criminal investigation.

The allegations about Paterno and the assistant coaches were cited in a ruling last week by Philadelphia Judge Gary Glazer in litigation between an insurance company and Penn State over how much of the settlement costs the school must bear.

The insurers cited an allegation that a boy had told the longtime Penn State football coach in 1976 that he had been molested by Sandusky. The court document also cited statements, from those claiming they had been Sandusky’s victims, that two unidentified assistant coaches had said they witnessed inappropriate contact between Sandusky and children in the late 1980s....

Paramedics laud PTSD legislation

....Harris was one of the first responders who arrived at the Travelodge in Barrie May 2, 2012, to attend to a man suffering from self-inflicted wounds, as well as the two nearly decapitated women in the hotel room with him. Twenty-four-year-old Mark Dobson was charged and convicted of killing his girlfriend, Mary Hepburn, 32, and their friend, Helen Dorrington, 52, of Cold Lake, Alta., during a satanic ritual.

Harris said she suffered from nightmares and night terrors and tried to drown her pain with alcohol. After she attended Dobson's murder trial and the funeral for a paramedic on the same day, she tried to end her life. She failed and, in doing so, finally got the support she required.....

Dobson found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder
Thursday, January 15, 2015

A judge has found Mark Dobson guilty for the satanic cult killings of two women at the Travelodge in Barrie in May of 2012.

The judge called the murders of Mary Hepburn and Helen Dorrington grotesque and found Dobson criminally responsible in both counts of first degree murder on Thursday....

The court heard that in May 2012, Dobson slit the women’s throats in what was supposed to be a satanic suicide pack that didn’t go as planned. The three had met on the ‘Joy of Satan’ website and believed they would reunite on another planet. Sonya Hepburn says she was shocked when she learned of the satanic beliefs.

“There were no indications, none what so ever,” added Hepburn.

The defence argued Dobson should be found be found not criminally responsible because he suffered from schizophrenia at the time.

Justice J.A. Watt acknowledged Dobson probably suffered from schizophrenia for years but said when he killed the women he appreciated that it was morally wrong.

“On its own, a mental disorder does not exempt anyone from criminal responsibility,” said Justice Watt in court.

Justice Watt also pointed out that Dobson understood the results and the consequences of his actions when he admitted to killing the women to emergency responders at the scene and also in an interview the next day with police when Dobson said he thought he would get life in jail or the death penalty.....

Nine Rochdale men to be sentenced for child sex abuse
Main complainant was raped by six of the men and was groomed by several members of gang when she was 14
Frances Perraudin  Thursday 7 April 2016

Nine men are set to be sentenced for a catalogue of serious sexual offences against six teenage girls in Rochdale.

The principal complainant in the case, who was raped by six of the men, walked into a police station in 2012 claiming to know about the “Rochdale grooming case”, following widespread media coverage of the convictions of a number of Asian men for grooming white girls for sex.

The victim reported that when she was aged 14 and 15 she was herself repeatedly sexually groomed by a large number of men from the Rochdale area.

The victim – described by prosecutors as an “extremely vulnerable young woman” who had had a difficult home life – said that her phone number had been passed around and that “hundreds” of men would ring her wanting to meet for sex....

The nine men were charged as part of Operation Doublet, a police investigation into the alleged sexual exploitation of teenage girls by men in Rochdale. The operation has led to more than 100 people being arrested and questioned, the majority of whom had links to Rochdale....

FBI: Child Abuse ‘Almost at an Epidemic Level' in U.S.

Tara John July 30, 2015

The bureau rescued 600 children last year  Tens of thousands of children are being sexually exploited each year in the U.S., according to an investigation by the BBC.  Despite rescuing 600 children last year, the FBI says child sex abuse is at epidemic levels where tens of thousands of children are believed to be sexually exploited in the country each year. "The level of paedophilia is unprecedented right now," Joseph Campbell of the FBI told the BBC.

Campbell, who works in the Criminal Investigation Division, has seen individuals from all walks of life engaged in both child pornography and child exploitation, calling it a problem "almost at an epidemic level." Hundreds of American children are also being sold into sex, according to the BBC, where poverty and neglect are thought to be some of the main reasons why young kids are vulnerable to sex trafficking.... http://time.com/3978236/american-children-sold-sex/

Sex trafficking: Lifelong struggle of exploited children  By Ian Pannell BBC News 30 July 2015
In the US, poverty, deprivation and exploitation draw thousands of its own children down into a dark underworld that offers few ways out.   It is a world few Americans are aware of. But tens of thousands of American children are thought to be sexually exploited every year.  It's believed that every night hundreds are sold for sex.   The FBI says child sex abuse is almost at an epidemic level, despite the agency rescuing 600 children last year....  http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-33710224

Human trafficking: The lives bought and sold
28 July 2015

Millions of men, women and children around the world are currently victims of human trafficking - bought and sold as commodities into prostitution and forced labour. This trade in people criss-crosses the globe - and it is a lucrative business. The International Labour Office estimates that forced labour generates $150bn (£96bn) in illegal profits every year. Two thirds ($99bn; £63bn) comes from sexual exploitation.

But who are the people behind the numbers?
Kemi and Bilkisu, from Nigeria, Jane from the UK and Gabby from the US describe how they fell prey to traffickers.

Kemi's story, Nigeria
Thousands of women and girls from West Africa are bought and sold every year - most end up in Europe. The UN's Office on Drugs and Crime estimates West African trafficking victims, many of whom originate in Nigeria, make up about 10% of those forced into sex work in Western Europe.
Benin City, in Nigeria's south, is a key player - with networks and infrastructure built around the trade in people....

Gabby's story, US
It is a similar story in the United States, where tens of thousands of children are being trafficked into prostitution. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says child exploitation is at "near-epidemic levels".  Gabby, from Baltimore, says she was abused by her father between the ages of eight and 12 - a relationship that she feels has influenced how she interacts with men. "I learnt very early that you could get things that you wanted or needed through sexual favours," she says. Gabby says she turned to drugs and fell into a relationship with an addict who, years later, pushed her into prostitution.... http://www.bbc.com/news/world-33592634
